About ADM
Experience in Manufacturing Engineering
Advanced Design and Manufacturing was founded in 1990 by Ron Raby who worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at a Fortune 500 company prior to starting ADM with Caren Raby who also had experience designing electro-mechanical assemblies. They identified the need in the marketplace for a company that specialized in engineering services offering design and documentation capabilities, through turn-key contract manufacturing with complete functional testing.
Commitment to Quality in Parts and People
ADM takes pride in the quality and training of their employees with all managers having had experience building assemblies and machines. All technicians are IPC A-620 trained by our in-house IPC Certified Trainers, and 80% of the core technicians have remained dedicated employees at ADM for well over 10 years!
Unique Services at ADM
Although the focus is turn-key contract manufacturing, ADM also offers unique services to their customers. If your project requires it, ADM will arrange for their Technicians to travel to your facility and perform assembly services for you, whether your company is across the USA or in another country. ADM also specializes in prototype builds, and has the engineering and design ideas to assist you in getting your product to market.
Tracking and Accountability
Utilizing a state-of-the art manufacturing software program, ADM tracks your order from quotation through final testing and delivery. This allows for continual visibility of all stages of the process, such as engineering changes, tracking sources of materials, and monitoring customer scheduling changes so that your project is always delivered on-time, within specifications and budget.
Scalable and Flexible Production
The Portsmouth, New Hampshire facility is specifically designed for productive work cells in an open, well lit floor space for improved workflow and productivity. This design also allows for adaptable workspace to accommodate modular builds as well as high mix of low to medium volume assemblies.
