Functional Testing
Testing is an integral part of our production process. We believe the key to delivering products of consistent high quality is thorough testing at the lowest practical level. Because of this an in process inspection is done on each harness. This inspection checks for crimp quality before the pins get inserted into a connector. It also checks to ensure the overall workmanship of the harness. For our final harness inspection we offer 100% mechanical and electrical quality testing of each harness or cable with our Cablescan continuity analyzer. This is a 2000 point computer controlled inspection tool that checks for shorts and breaks in a harness. A report can be printed for each harness tested showing the test results and pass or fail. Our ongoing objective is to assure conformance with our customer's requirements with established quality control and testing standards. We inspect all of the other assemblies we build with the same scrutiny. Each assembly gets tested electrically and mechanically. To guarantee quality, we have developed many custom test fixtures. These test fixtures allow us to completely test an assembly from connector keying to proper output voltages. |
