Functional Testing

Our ongoing objective is to assure conformance with our customer’s requirements with established quality control and testing standards.

We believe the key to delivering high quality products consistently is through testing at the lowest practical level. This is an integral part of our production process. Therefore, an in process inspection is done on each harness. The object of the inspection is to:

  • Check for crimp quality before the pins get inserted into a connector
  • Ensure the overall workmanship of the harness

Functional testing is made possible through the use of our WeeTech Continuity Analyzer:

  • This is a 2048 point computer controlled inspection tool that checks for shorts and breaks in a harness.
  • A report can be printed for each harness tested, showing whether it has passed or failed.
  • Test of Keys and Switches, and Powered Devices such as Horns, Signals, Brake Lights, etc.
  • Capable of Switching an External Source up to 24 VDC

We are sure to inspect all assemblies we build with the same scrutiny. Each assembly gets tested electrically and mechanically. To guarantee quality, we have developed many custom test fixtures. These allow us to completely test an assembly from connector keying to proper output voltages.

"The quality of ADM's engineered products has always been very high. If there are any problems, response is quick. Assemblers/Techs have even traveled to our site to remedy the issues."
