Core Systems

ADM has had a long standing relationship with one semiconductor equipment manufacturer where we were deeply involved in the development of their product. In January of 1997, Krytek Corporation contracted ADM to provide engineering services. ADM was given the responsibility to design some of the major components for the Krytek 250 source conditioner. These included:

  • AC Power Distribution Assembly
  • System Harness
  • Pneumatic Interface

At the conclusion of the design, ADM became the sole supplier of these parts for every tool that they built. Over the next few years, Krytek transferred the manufacturing to ADM. Krytek still wanted to be in control of their material. A majority of the material was purchased by Krytek and drop shipped to ADM's facility. ADM was responsible for:

  • Handling of customer supplied materials
  • Turn-key Manufacturing
  • Functional Component Testing

By late 2001, Core Systems of Sunnyvale, CA acquired Krytek Corp. ADM worked closely with their engineering and manufacturing departments to help develop the next generation tool, the Krytek 300 Source Conditioner.

In addition to redesigning existing components ADM also became responsible many new aspects:

  • Documentation control
  • Design of new Analog device I/O box
  • Researching and replacing obsolete materials
  • Sourcing 19" industrial flat screen PC, with mountable arm

Lastly, ADM took on procuring all the material. At this point the project became a full turn-key operation. This involved:

  • Material procurement
  • Manufacturing
  • Full Machine Functional Test
  • Customer acceptance from Core Systems
  • Shipping directly to the end user, worldwide.
