ADM Takes to the air!

Advanced Design & Manufacturing founder Ron Raby finished his project of taking things a little higher for ADM by building his first ever aircraft with help from:

Lancair Super ES
  • Joel Charron
  • Jay Davis
  • Dave Bilodeau
  • Owen O'Keefe

The airplane, a Lancair Super ES, has a cruise speed of 225 MPH and a seven hour range. The plane will fly from Portsmouth, N.H. to Miami, FL. in about six hours, non-stop.

The control system designed and built by ADM has a dual battery/dual alternator electrical system with a crossfeed contactor. In the event of an alternator failure, one would hit the crossfeed switch and keep on flying.

The plane was completed in March of 2005. The plane is now fully operational.

Press Releases:
ADM and Share Our Strength-Portsmouth

For the last 10 years, ADM has been a corporate sponsor for Share Our Strength - Seacoast Taste of the Nation annual dinner extravaganza. SOS, Share Our Strength, is one of the nation's largest and most effective hunger relief organizations. Since 1988, Share Our Strength's Taste of the Nation has raised nearly $180 million, which have supported more than 1,000 groups working to end hunger and poverty.

The 2006 Seacoast Taste of the Nation was bigger and better than ever before. The gala event was held on the first day of summer under a massive tent at the beautiful and historic Strawbery Banke Museum. Over 60 local restaurants and purveyors of fine beer and wine collaborated to present the finest fare the Seacoast has to offer. There was live music, dancing, and a silent auction with amazing items up for bid. It was a night to remember! Thanks to the generous support of our corporate sponsors listed below, 100% of ticket sales go directly to the fight against hunger and poverty. We also want to thank our volunteers, chefs, in-kind sponsors, vendors, and restaurants. And a big thanks to the Strawbery Banke Museum for partnering with us in our efforts to create a hunger-free generation! For more information visit tasteofthenation.org.
